Social Networking: Keeping in Touch

In today’s busy society, we are spending less time keeping relationships with friends and family stable.  We are working and playing harder than ever before which limits the  time we have to keep in touch with everyone we once considered to be important people in our lives.  We can are luck that with the advances in computer technology to have this wonderful new thing called social networking. Social networking allows up to keep everyone up to date at the same time rather than calling every individual person, one at a time.

Benefits of Social Networking:

  • You can let your friends and family know what is going on within your life without calling or emailing each individual person.  Trying to keep everyone in the loop can get a bit time consuming and tedious after a while.
  • You can find out what is going on in your friends and families lives without having to ask them, which again saves time and even stress.  You want to keep up with everyone, but that can be hard sometimes.
  • Marketing with social networking is also a great way to increase profits for your small businesses.  If you have many friends and family, they can pass the sales pitch along to their friends and before you know it, your message can get around much faster and with little costs.

With the technology we have available to us, especially social networking we can cut the amount of time used to “catch up” in half.  We are so very busy these days and it is nice to have a shortcut.  While on occasion it can lead to lesser sensitivity to your friends and family, the pros far outweigh the cons in this matter.  We simply do not have the time to spend that we used too.
